This is my 1998 bow kill 6x6 elk. Taken once again on my cousin's land just north of where I work. Shot at 35 yards broadside after watching him come in from 300 yards away. He ran 50 yards before going down for good.

Well from insider information AKA Barry and Darlene theres a few running around . Calves have started come about 4 or 5 a day now so I reckon Spring might be here .

Well That was a heck of a day , Got the .17 shooting in a grouping the size of a dime , .280 grouping the middle diamond of them 5 Diamond targets , .22-250 is still bang , on , sighted in my .22LR for 100 yards , and she was bang on shooting at a Steel gong all day long . Man it was an expensive day but who cares well worth it , sure as heck beat being at home or risking your life on unsafe ice , but the idgit in me forgot the camera but I will lay the guns out here this evening and take a few pictures .

Any one doing any bear hunting ? Myself am headed up to High Level to work in bear camp as a cook , and then hopefully will get the chance when freedom desides to poke its head out and Thump .
