any good spot for shore fishing?

Does anybody know some good shore fishing spots except those trout ponds and Pigeon Provincial Park?

I know there are tons of weeds around shore now but is there any place within one and half hour from Edmonton to catch some pike / walleye? thinking heading out the comming long weekend.

Head up north for a change , try Hannmore , I havent been there in awhile , Long Lake , is fishing pretty good , Ummm yeah thats all I can think for now .

went to south buck lake on Sunday for two hours fishing landed 10 fishes in total 3 walleys and 7 pikes.

Nice , glad you had results . South buck is a tricky lake it definitely fishes different at different times of the year . Ah well Again thats why its fishing not catching .
