NSR fishing

Post by fisharefun on Mon 27 Apr 2009, 12:30 am

Any one been out on the NSR lately? I was out last monday and she is fishing very well my son caught his first fish a walleye. I love this time of year it's some of the best fishing of the season. I managed a pike on the fly rod and a half dozen walleye, in a couple weeks the fish are going to come off the spawn and be very hungry and then it will be nuts! I encourage every one to get out on the river soon!
Cheers
Andrew

Hey Buckmaster, I was just wondering if you are in the sturgeon program, and if you are catching any untagged fish? How deep is the legends hole and is it up stream or down stream from the launch?

Thanks you for any info that you are willing to give out. I really need to catch one soon........starting to dream about them!

the river is really low right now I find it's a little harder to fish when its this low I can't wait till we get the mountain runoff it should be happening anytime now. And I have been out for sturgeon like 3 times since last post and I still can't catch any bounce
